About the event
Punch needle is a craft technique using a special tool to create loops of yarn or thread on fabric. Invented in the 1880s for rug making, it's now used for various items like cushions and wall hangings. The rhythmic punching motion is relaxing, making it popular among textile enthusiasts.
Alice will teach the basic techniques of punch needle embroidery using consciously sourced materials. This workshop is perfect for complete beginners without any knowledge of punch needle and people who have punched before looking to learn new stitches and how to sculp your work!
